Hip Hop Event : Infrastructure to Industry: January 24, 2015. The Rep Theatre @djmisscbrown @sicnis @4ourpillars @malikmd7

Infrastructure to industry is a discussion based event that tackles the issues in the UK hip hop industry (or lack of) and seeks to find ways to address them.

Since the Urban Music Seminars stopped taking place annually in London in the mid 2000’s, there has been a lack of events that bring together the key players involved to in UK hip hop discuss how we can come together to build up our own industry, and take control of what is essentially ours.

Questions that may be asked are follows:

How do we build it?

What do we need to do?

What can Birmingham do?

There will be a sharing of ideas, networking, discussion & most importantly a plan of ACTION! The event will be filmed and streamed live online, making it open to the UK & beyond. Guest speakers include Malik from MD7, Big Ted, Sic’nis & Colin Rox of Four Pillars London. So all artists (aspiring & established), label owners, promoters and supporters of the scene come down to the Rep theatre, Broad Street Birmingham On Jan 24th 2015 to share your ideas, frustrations and solutions to help this industry! There will also be special performances by Dan Man, Miss C Brown & E Double D.
