Brixton raptivist and Logic returns to give us a late Christmas present in the form of his brand new album – ‘Last Summer’.
Running at 48 mins and 5 seconds and 12-tracks deep Last Summer is packed with solid tracks in which Logic brings street consciousness, delivering his instrospective social commentary in his raspy vocal tone.
The south Londoner gets deep on tracks like “To Women” in which he tells to story of young woman going through the struggles in the inner city, and gives insight into the reality of the streets and staying away from that environment in the track – “Wolves”.
Joining Logic on the project are likes of; Congo Natty, Big Frizzle, Mic Righteous, Don Jaga, Big Cakes, Adam Hourigan, Femi Santiago, Frank & Hasam Salaam
The production on the album is incorporates rootsy reggae and soulful-jazzy vibes, electronic influences and hard boom-bap beats provided by Last Resort
