KS MoreTime (@KSMoreTime) – ‘Gimme The Mic'(Prod. @28thWashere)

Following coming in third place, and making the finals of the Lottery 25 Talent Show and Lady Leshurr’s Quaranting Freestyle Challenge respectively, Croydon’s rising star, 18-year-old rapper, KS MoreTime releases his new promo single,‘Give Me The Mic’.

On this anthemic hip-hop head-nodder, produced by 28th, KS calls out those who he sees making big claims but can’t back it up with action. Delivering his verses with intensity he displays why he should be viewed differently than many of his contemporaries stating: “I do with the mic, what Cristiano does with the ball, set standards so high it could be fatal to fall”.

MoreTime glides over the beat with a slick multi-syllabic rhyme pattern sitting snugg in the pocket of the beat, which is centred around a cinematic horn making it suitable for a superhero’s theme tune.

Speaking on the track KS said: ”I got the beat from 28th, and caught a vibe on this one, which was to just to display my lyrical ability, bringing it back to the rhymes, of course I always got slip in a little social-political commentary, but I didn’t want that to be the focus on this one”.

The next 18 months are going to be exciting times for KS with his first official single ‘Designer Dresser’ scheduled for release in September, followed by a series of single releases throughout 2021. Get ready!
