KS MoreTime (@KSMoreTime) – ‘Heavy With The Hooks‘
Croydon’s rising star, 17-year-old rapper, KS MoreTime releases his anti-knife crime anthem,‘Heavy With The Hooks’, a track inspired by the loss of young lives that’s occurring daily in London, and around the UK.
On this smooth hip-hop head-nodder, which incorporates Harry Love’s production from Kyza Smirnoff‘s 2003 single – ‘Harsh Reality‘, KS creates a modern classic for a new generation of hip-hop fans. He details the struggles of growing up in inner-city London in the midst of the current knife-crime epidemic, reflecting on his own life which could’ve taken a turn for the worse, had he not made the decision to stay on the straight and narrow focusing on music.
His motivation for speaking up on this important issue can be summed up simply in the line: ”Man I’m just praying and I’m wishing, I’d don’t want to see my brothers locked-up in the prison”.
The next 12 months are going to be exciting times for KS with a couple of major singles scheduled for release in 2020, which are sure to get a few industry heads sitting up and paying attention. KS (which stands for Keep Striving) aims to inspire others to find their own calling, and overcome adversity. He spreads positivity in his raps stating: “Moving people mentally through music, that’s my mission!”
