Targeting Grime: Radio 1xtra and Grime Pioneer DJ Target releases his book ‘Grime Kids’

Grime pioneer DJ Target who made his name as part of the collectives Pay As U Go, and Roll Deep follows the lead of his school friend and longtime music collaborator, Wiley MBE, with  the release of his book,  ‘Grime Kids’.

The resurgence of Grime has resulted in countless articles, and documentaries giving the new age fans of the music history and context behind Britain’s most important cultural movement since Punk.  Many of those telling the story weren’t at the heart of the burgeoning scene 15 years ago.

DJ  Target was right in he mix, and gives his first hand take on what was happening at the time, and talks of his musical journey, and relationships with some of the biggest artist to come out the scene such as; Wiley MBE And Dizzee Rascal who met in his Bed Room.
