Birmingham-born rapper/singer Stefflon Don has put her self in the record books by becoming the first UK artist to be featured on the respected Hip-Hop Magazine, XXL’s Freshman list.
The XXL Freshman List is put together annually (First published in 2007) and features 10 artist who the magazine believe are going to do big things in the US in the coming years. Joining the ‘Hurtin Me’ star on the 2018 list are; Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Pump, Smokepurpp, J.I.D, BlocBoy JB, YBN Nahmir, Wifisfuneral and Trippie Redd.

Hip-Hop alumni that have graduated from the Freshman list in the past include such stars as; Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Kid Cudi, Chance The Rapper, French Montanta, Joey Bada$$ and more.

Stefflon Don (real name Stephanie Allen) has been steadily building her profile in the states with interviews with DJ Whoo Kid and the Hot 97 Morning Show with Laura Styles, Peter Rosenberg, and Ebro Darden. Following of the success of her single ‘Hurtin Me Feat. French Montana’, Stefflon Don has signed to Quality Control in the U.S. home to Rap trio The Migos.
