Motion With The Ocean: High Focus Records artists Ocean Wisdom Cracks The Top 40 UK Official Album Chart With ‘Wizville’ Album.

Brighton-based MC, Ocean Wisdom has great cause for celebration as his highly-anticipated second studio-album,‘Wizville’ has entered the UK Official albums chart at No #39.

Released on Friday, February 23, 2018, ‘Wizville‘ has one of the best feature artist line -ups on a UK Hip-Hop album in recent times, with Wizzy hooking up with the likes of; Rodney P, Roots Manuva, Dizzee Rascal, Jehst, P Money, and rap legend Method Man of Wu Tang Clan.

The album was propelled by ‘Revvin Feat. Dizzee Rascal’ his third single, and stand-out track on ‘Wizville’ which has been well- received by the public going to No. #3 on on Spotify’s Viral Top 5.

The official midweek chart was published on Monday, February 26, 2018 which showed that,‘Wizvile’ had gone to No. #53.

For an underground UK Hip-Hop artist his midweek chart position was a respectable one, but the possibility of a Top 40 at this stage seemed unlikely. We were pleasantly surprised to find out today (March, 2, 2018) when the Official UK Albums Charts were published that Ocean wisdom‘s ‘Wizville’ had managed to climb 24 positions to give High Focus Records their first Top 40 entering the chart at No. #39.

‘Wizville’ simultaneously bagged the No. #2 spot on The Official UK R & B Top 40 albums Chart, just behind Stormzy’s debut ‘Gang Signs And Prayer’ which has been given a boost since his double BRIT win.

This is a massive achievement for Ocean Wisdom and High Focus Records, who are doing a more of an underground Boom-Bap sound,which will surely inspire others, who produce a similar style of Hip-Hop that commercial success is attainable if done right.
