Spirit Of London: Global Sports Brand Nike Enlists Skepta, Giggs, AJ Tracey, Dave, J Hus, Michael Dapaah And More In New ‘Nothing Beats A Londoner’ Campaign
Global sport apparel brand Nike have just released their brand new advert for their ‘Nothing Beats A Londoner’ Campaign. Nike have a long documented connection with urban culture with some of theirs most popular shoes achieving iconic status.
The campaign follows a previous a project Nike undertook at the end of 2017, in which they drafted in rapper Little Simz, and Grime MC, AJ Tracey as the faces of their Air Force One London ‘Look Book’, a visual documentation of the signature shoe’s influence on London street culture.
For their ‘Nothing Beats A Londoner’ campaign, Nike expanded on this concept to show a diverse and modern London, with Grime & UK Rap being sonic representations of the capital’s urban identity, it was only right they drafted in the likes of; Skepta, Giggs, AJ Tracey, Dave, J Hus, Michael Dapaah, and more. The artist featured in scene based around settings at the heart of London’s bubbling diverse communities such as; the Asian cornershop, Chicken shops, and Black Barber Shop.
