BRITHOPTV: [News] Skepta Makes A Grime Riddim In The New Rolls-Royce Phantom | #Grime #MusicNews

Luxury Grime: Boy Better Know’s Skepta Makes Music In Mobile Studio  In The Back Of The New Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Producer/ MC and style icon, Skepta has teamed  up luxury car manufacturer, Rolls-Royce for a special promo for the new edition of their signature Phantom model.

Inspired by the serenity of the new Rolls-Royce Phantom, the, Boy Better Know front man, conceived and recorded an entire music track whilst driving through the Swiss Alps.

Rolls-Royce using the Tottenham-raised MC in their marketing campaign may come across as odd to many, as the ethos and target demographic of the high-end car brand, is at the opposite end of the spectrum to  Skepta‘s.  However, with the rise of grime, and the earning potential of the top tier artist such as; Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Lethal Bizzle Skepta, and StormzyRolls-Royce may be tapping in to the aspirations of  a new generation, and emerging demographic.

In his 24 Hour with…. fly on the wall video diary for Link Up TV , Lethal Bizzle can be seen  in a Rolls-Royce Dawn, which he confessed to purchasing saying; “I’d thought I’d try something different,  you get me, I’ve had the Lambos, and Rari and all that, so let me try something else”.

It is reported that Skepta inspired Lethal Bizzle to get his Rolls-Royce, and is an owner of  one himself, which makes the match up not as strange as it first appears.
