Rapman (@RealRapman) – ‘What’s The Story’ E.P.

South London rapper, Rapman follows up his brilliant debut E.P., ‘7 Days’, with his brand new E.P, ‘What’s The Story’. There is no doubt when it comes to the art of storytelling in UK rap, Rapman is head-and-shoulders above the rest, solidifying his position with detailed street tales with plot twists.

Running at 37 minutes and 9 tracks long, ‘What’s The Story’ builds on  the storytelling concept, refining it, so it work for tracks that are more up-beat, allowing for different vibes on the project.  Production on the EP is strong which keeps the project from getting  a bit monotonous.

Keeping the features to a minimum, Rapman selects a handful of artist to provide the icing to his cake; Jane Doe, J Hus, Margs, & Pakman all lend their talents to the project.  As you would probably expect, ‘What’s The Story’   leans more towards being a listening project, but has  a few tracks that would work on radio namely the Bonnie & Clyde-type track, ‘All We Need Is Us Ft. Jane Doe’
