South London rapper, Dave follows up his debut E.P., ‘Sex Paths’, with his brand new E.P, ‘Game Over’. Dave shows his progression as an artist on his latest project, and solidifies his position as one of the most exciting talents emerging out of the UK Rap scene.
The brilliantly penned ‘Question Time’ sees the Streatham-native analysis the last 12 month of British politics addressing Prime Minister, Theresa May, former Prime Minister, David Cameron, and Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn.
Another stand-out on ‘Game Over’ is the reflective track,’How I met My Ex’, which as the title suggest a tale of a previous relationship from the very beginning to the break down, with a honest account of where he may of fell short. Production on ‘Game Over’ is mainly handled by his team Tyrell 169 and Fraser T Smith, with a few guest producers; Steel Banglez who provides the foundation for ‘No Words’ his collaboration with Mostack.
Dave without doubt is more an artist you sit down and listening to, rather than a turn up artist, that you would bump in clubs, or in your car, although he has a few attempts to cover his bases with tracks, ‘Calling Me Out’ and ‘Game Over’.
Dave – ‘Game Over’ E.P. is OUT NOW available at all good digital outlets.
