Complex UK editor JP was a guest on Sunday Night Rider to explore why grime is still misrepresented or misinterpreted by UK music media so often. This was in response to NME calling singer Ray BLK a grime artist, and hip-hop artist Loyle Carner’s music described as ‘the sentinment side of grime’ in The Guardian earlier in the week.

In this uploaded portion of the show, we also discuss the pros & cons of writing for free and help me to see sense on a professional dilemma.
