Grime is having a bit of a moment right now – coming of age perhaps – with two albums from the genre being nominated for Mercury awards – and Skepta’s Konnichiwa winning of course. The music takes its themes and inspirations from growing up in inner-city housing estates and tower blocks is becoming more mainstream.
