South London Grime MC Stormzy has been nominated  for  The South Bank/  Times Breakthrough Awards  2016.  The Awards  now in its twelfth year will take place on June 5,  and will  celebrate emerging talent in the creative arts across various categories.

The winner will be determined by an online vote exclusively by The Times readers, and announced at the Award ceremony. Historically, each category has three nominees, of which Stormzy is one  in the popular music category representing Grime.

The is nomination alone is recognition of the achievements of  the Wicked Skengman,  who joins Tinie Tempah, and Plan B in the list of UK MCs who’ve been nominated for the award.
