North London MC, Chip returned  to the Grime scene in a big way in 2015. Ending the the year with his mixtape, ‘Rap Vs Grime’, he dropped the video for his track ‘Hear Dis Feat. Stormzy’, to coincide with its release, setting the internet on fire.

Uploaded to Chip‘s official YouTube channel on Christmas day, the video has now smashed through the one million views mark, and at the time of writing this article, had accumulated 1,174, 614 views in 12 days.

The artist formerly known as Chipmunk reaffirmed his position as one of the UK’s leading MCs in 2015, having to fight for his career after being embroiled in lyrical warfare with  Mancunian MC Bugzy Malone.  His work rate has been second to none,   knocking out ‘Believe & Achieve’ episodes one and two,  the ‘Light Work’ EP (a compilation of some of his Bugzy Malone War Dubs), and the Christmas treat, ‘Rap Vs Grime’ mixtape.

Chip has set himself up nicely for 2016 in which we expect to him to do even bigger things. The next 12 months should be very interesting, watch this space!
