There is no stopping 22-year-old South London  MC Stormzy.  Following winning a BET Award for ‘Best International Act (UK)’, doing countless shows up and down the country, as well as short stints abroad,  he vowed to give his fans the highy-anticipated fourth edition  of his ‘Wicked Skengman’ Series.

Recorded  in August and uploaded to his YouTube Channel on September  10, it has taken just 26 days for , Stormzy‘s ‘Wicked Skengman 4’ to cruise past  the one million views mark on Youtube, and at the time of writing this article it had accumulated 1,421,612 views.

Mr #Merky as he is sometimes known, surprised fans by releasing,‘Wicked Skengman4’ as a single  2 hours after dropping the video, which immediately made and impact on iTunes. Subsequently it went to No. #14 in the midweek chart, and No. #18 in the official weekly Single chart,  making history as the highest-charting  freestyle in the UK.

On the night prior to ‘Wicked Skengman 4’ charting, Stormzy received another trophy for the mantelpiece, winning ‘Best Video’ at the first ever GRM  Daily Rated Awards. He may even  win  more awards before the year is out, as he   has been nominated for ‘Best Grime act’, ‘Best Video’, and ‘Best Male act’ at this years MOBO Awards.

Stormzy has had another amazing year so far, and I guess the big question now is: When is he going drop the album? His fans eagerly await.
