South  London  rap duo,  Krept And Konan  are having a great 2015.  It started with their radio-friendly lead single, ‘Freak Of The Week Ft. Jeremih’  entering the Official UK Singles  at No .#9,  giving them their first top 10 in July.

Subsequently their debut album, ‘The Long Way Home’ surpassed all expectations  entering the UK album chart at No #2 a week later.  Now in just over two months (64 days to be precise), the dancehall-tinged , ‘Freak Of The The Week Ft Jeremih’, has amassed the equivalent of 200,000 units sold and was certified silver by the BPI on August 21.

We reported on May 18, that the video had reached one million views on YouTube  in thirteen days (currently at 16,014,034 as of 11:55 am,  September 8, 2015),  which was a strong indication that the track had the potential to do well commercially.

Award season is upon us and Krept And Konan have been nominated  for ‘Best Project’, ‘Best Video’, and ‘Artist Of The Year’ at the, GRM Daily & KA‘s Rated awards taking place at the  The Grand, Clapham Junction on Thursday, September 18, 2015, and are sure to be nominated  in categories at this year’s MOBO Awards.

The Play Dirty partners-in-rhyme will be embarking on their ‘The Long Way Home’  UK Tour in November, tickets are selling fast so if you like to see Krept and Konan in action, make sure you pick up your tickets ASAP
