Award-Winning Actor, Idris Elba Sprays Down on Skepta’s – ‘Shutdown’ Remix

Award-winning British actor, Idris Elba summons up his inner east London MC for his feature verse on the remix of Skepta‘s, ‘Shutdown’.

The  42-year-old who came to prominence playing the character, Russell “Stringer” Bell in the HBO series The Wire, is no stranger to music,  releasing his EP, ‘High Class Problems Vol. 1’ in the United Kingdom in February 2010. He also collaborated with names such as Jay-Z, co-producing and performing on the intro to his 2007 album ‘American Gangster’, and featuring on Mr Hudson’s single, ‘Step Into the Shadows’.

Idris Elba is released his Mr. Hudson produced-album entitled, ‘Idris Elba Presents mi Mandela’, in November 2014.

Idris has a good voice and bounces on the track with a Garage flow, which isn’t too bad, so who knows there may be a mixtape coming in the near future.  What do you think?
