It seems the way of the modern music world (which has changed due to the nature of social media and the internet), is to create moments of excitement, by giving no prior warning of releases or events that are going to happen. This technique was used most notably by Beyonce with the release of her self-titled album.
Skepta has been employing this technique recently and has done so again, when he took to twitter announce that he is going to have a free #Shutdown party. In the tweet that can be seen below, he states that the location will be announced at4pm today (April 30).
