BritHop Symphony: Leading Grime & UK Hip-Hop Stars To Perform at BBC Proms in August.

BBC 1Xtra along with  some of the leading artist from the world of UK Hip-Hop and Grime took to social media to announce the line-up for  a special  collaboration between BBC Radio1, and BBC1Xtra, which will feature the likes of Stormzy,  Wretch 32 ,  Little Simz,  Krept and Konan,  Lethal Bizzle, Skepta, Chip,  performing  at BBC Proms later this year.

Building of the success of BBC 1xtra‘s Urban Classic Prom that took place in 2013, they aim to take things to the next level with this year’s event billed as Late Night…. With BBC Radio 1Xtra. 

Taking place on August 12, at the Royal Albert Hall,  Metropole Orkest, conducted by Jules Buckley,  will create a symphonic-fusion showcasiing the skills of the MCs and the classical musicians.
