Do British Urban Artists Need Validation From America? – Kanye & Skepta BRITS 2015

The BRITs took place this week and one of the biggest taking points of the night was undoubtedly Kanye West bringing out a load of UK grime artists like Skepta, Stormzy and Novelist to name a few.
Why did it take a US artist to recognise UK talent and put it on a platform in our own country?
