Kendrick Lamar dropped a new politically charged track ‘The Blacker The Berry’ the day after winning Best Rap Song and Performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards. A lot of the music that we listen to nowadays has no conscious or underlying meaning, it is simply made for the ‘turn up’. Does the world need more conscious rappers?
