Against the Clock is a series on FACT TV where we give an artist 10 minutes in the studio and see what they come up with.

Up this time, East London production trio Heavytrackerz – a.k.a. Teddy, G. Tank and RasEye. Although the group is best known for producing Meridian Dan’s crossover hit ‘German Whip’, they’ve also worked with P Money, Wiley, JME, Big Narstie and other top dogs from the grime hierarchy, as well as remixing for Vic Mensa and Iggy Azealea.

Their Against the Clock kicks off with a sample from grime standard ‘Ice Rink’, before processing that into the starting point for an atmospheric 140bpm banger. There’s even a Team America sample in there.
