The controversial ‘Godfather of Grime‘, Wiley, took to social media to announce a number of dates for his tour in support of his forthcoming album, ‘Snakes and Ladders’, which has been re-scheduled for release in November.
Known for championing the younger generation, helping to bring through some of the freshest talent from the Grime and UK Hip-Hop world, Wiley has continued his support for the stars of the future, and invited Stormzy to join him on his tour, following the two hooking up at the video shoot for Wiley‘s latest single, ‘A Level’.
The South London rapper of Ghanaian heritage has had a great year so far, with his EP, ‘Dreamers Disease’ going straight to the top of the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart, being one of the stand-out MC’s on Radio One DJ, Charlie Sloth’s ‘Fire In The Booth Cypher’, coming in second place on our very own ‘Fire In The Booth Cypher Poll’, being invited to support Ghetts on the London date of his ‘Rebel Tour’, and probably the biggest recognition of his work yet, being nominated for ‘Best Grime’ at this years MOBO Awards.
The dates confirmed so far for the ‘Snakes and Ladders’ tour will see Eskiboy hit three major cities, the first being ; London where the will be at Garage on Tuesday, December 16, then on to Birmingham where he will be at the Library, on Thursday, December 18, and last but not least Manchester, where he will be at Gorillia, on Friday, December 19.
