Hollowman Gets A New Gig: @MetroUK reports on UK Rapper Giggs ( @OfficialGiggs) tweet about being congratulated on becoming interim Man Utd Manager.

Since the late noughties when Peckham rapper Giggs came on the scene, there was always a possibility that one day the, ‘Talking The Hardest” MC would be mixed up with the Welsh footballing genius,  who came up through the Manchester United ranks to become one their most important players, over the last 20 years. Well that day has come.

Manchester United are having a horrid season, and footballing fans hold one man responsible. News broke on April 22, that David Moyes had been sacked from his role as Manager of Manchester United FC after a ten-month stint.  Following shortly after there was another announcement that the Red Devil’s longest serving player, Ryan Giggs would replace Moyes as Interim manager.

Immediately people rushed to twitter to congratulate the Welsh footballer on his new role, but as can been seen from the tweet below, had got him mixed up with the UK Rapper of the same name, who Tweeted as follows:

It’s not quite clear at this stage whether he received tweets from people who had made a genuine mistake, or people who thought it would be humourous to send tweets congratulating him, chances are there may have been a mixture.

UK rapper Giggs’ surprise appointment as Man Utd manager brings new meaning to the line:”I’ll ave em covered  in red like a portion of Chips” Good Luck!
